Rubbing noise from both front wheels after cv axle change.?

i didnt really know how to change the cv axles so i took off parts more then i needed. (but now I know) like my rotors and brakes. after everything put back on i thought hardship was over then found out during test drive my brakes were soft but start to get hader after pumpin the brakes. and then heard rubbing grinding noise coming from both sides. not too loud though. what the heck dude!!! any help...oh its a 97 4runner 4x4Rubbing noise from both front wheels after cv axle change.?soft brakes; most likely air in the system, youre going to have to bleed them.. easier with two ppl.. Have one person pump them about three times then hold the peddle down, then loosen the screw on the caliper untill fluid comes out then tighten it, n then let go of the peddle continue until peddle feels firm.

noise, check the backing plate, the plate that goes behind the rotors, make sure its not rubbin against the rotor, just push it or bend it slightly back. or jack up each wheel, n turn the wheel by manualy n try n trace the noise.Rubbing noise from both front wheels after cv axle change.?bleed the brakes and i hope u didnt tighten the cv joint securing nut real tight, u have to back it off a bit too allow the wheels to spin freely.
