Once this is done the real fun begins, if your changing your hub like it states you can count on that being rusted 1000 times worse than the rotor. They dont put any type of anti-seize on them from the factory and their such a tight fit they usually rust into place. I use a technique that involves using the vehicles own power steering system to power the hub out of the knuckle. Or maybe you rotor is part of the hub, then you need to get the bearing loose to take the rotor off.How to change a front hub on 98 dodge ram 4x4 1500 series?Take the brake shoes off, if it has lock out you have to pull lock outs off. If it has a cap, take it off and it has a nut in there that holds it. If you have the caliper and pads off and also the cotter pin and nut but it still wont come off use a rubber sledge hammer to remove rotor but be careful if not replacing rotor and do it when cool or you can damage the rotor.
